The CSD says goodbye to Jill Ritzman, the General Manager of the District for the last four years, as she retires after 40 years of serving the communities in the greater Sacramento area. Ritzman told the board that she would bring “good change” into this position when she was hired and has done just that. During her time at the CSD, she led the District’s Solar Project, passed the CPCSD Five Year Strategic Plan adding in cultural values, and passed the CPCSD Park Improvement Plan, which has already seen an addition of a disc golf course at the lake, updates to Rasmussen Park’s sport fields, and Splash and Spray Pad Project that is scheduled to break ground later this year. She was also a pillar of support in the community as the county faced the Caldor Fire. Her presence, leadership, and laughter will surely be missed at the CSD. We wish her the best as she takes on this new chapter of her life to travel with her husband and focus on herself.
